What to Expect
During the procedure:
- A tourniquet or light pressure is applied to help locate a vein.
- A small needle is used to collect the blood sample swiftly and gently.
- Once the sample is taken, pressure is applied to stop any bleeding, followed by a child-friendly plaster.
